Read and interpret quality drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Inspect products and materials to confirm they meet quality standards
Approve or reject products and record supplier performance
Select samples and carry out checks using the right methods. This includes dimensional measurement, functional testing, and comparison to drawings
Use automated inspection and reporting systems to update records accurately
Maintain clear inspection records and quality metrics, including defect rates
Review procedures across the full production cycle to confirm they meet operating and safety requirements
Monitor equipment use to confirm it is safe, serviceable, and fit for purpose
Remove or report any equipment that does not meet required standards
Desirable criteria (but not essential):
Quality control certification (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
CMM knowledge
Experience using CATIA and MRP systems
The ideal candidate will include (but not be limited to):
Have proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a relevant role
Have a keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
Be responsible and trustworthy
Be familiar with quality drawings and systems
Have a thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
Be competent in the use of MS Office
HOURS OF WORK
07.00 – 16.00 (Mon – Thurs) – 07.00 – 12.00 noon Friday
