We are looking for a CNC Programming Engineer to support aerospace manufacturing through offline CNC programming across 3, 4 and 5 axis machines using CAM software. You will develop machining strategies for materials including aluminium and titanium, select efficient tooling packages, and verify NC code using Vericut in line with engineering sign off procedures.
You will create process booklets and work instructions, and design fixtures and work holding to support consistent machine set ups. You will work closely with production and quality teams to improve manufacturing methods and reduce machining time and labour cost.
You will also support sales activity by contributing manufacturing concepts and quotation input, maintain accurate ERP data, work with tooling suppliers to introduce new technologies, and liaise with external programming sub contractors to deliver programs on time and to customer specification.
