Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Maintain and develop supplier relationships negotiating pricing, lead times and terms of business. 
  • Raise PO’s and ensure on time delivery. 
  • Monthly supplier KPI reporting 
  • Liasing with internal stakeholders to ensure demands are met on time. 
  • Issue and management of tenders and cost saving projects. 

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A good standard of education and a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills 
  • Strong inter-personal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with Suppliers and multiple departments within the business. 
  • Previous experience of ERP/MRP Systems 
  • Understanding of category strategies 
  • Experience with indirect procurement. 
  • 2+ years purchasing experience. 
  • Have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially excel.

Hours of work:

08.00 – 17.15 (Mon – Thurs) or 07.00 – 16.00 (Mon – Thurs) 

08.00 – 12.00 noon (Friday) or 07.00 – 12.00 noon (Friday) 

Salary dependent on experience
